Travelling from abroad

How to get there and get around

The closest airport for most international flights is Cluj-Napoca. From here it is possible to hire a car or take a bus to Baia Mare. The trip from Cluj takes approximately 2,5-3 hours. It is also possible to fly to Baia Mare by taking a domestic flight from Bucharest.

Travelling from Denmark

Direct flight from Malmø

Wizz Air flies from Malmø Airport directly to Cluj-Napoca on Wednesdays and Sundays (but very late due to a time change!!!)

You should get an airport bus to Malmø Airport from Copenhagen!

Flights from Copenhagen

LOT and Lufthansa fly from Copenhagen and Billund with one stop to Cluj-Napoca.

We recommend taking these.
