Moments to look forward to

For those traveling from abroad or staying after the wedding, we’ve planned a few activities on the following days that you’re welcome to join if you’d like. Please let us know if you plan to attend, so we have a chance to plan. We look forward to spending more time together and creating lasting memories!

Thursday
14.00 – Ceremony
Join us for the wedding ceremony at Biserica de Lemn Surdesti.
15.00 – Wedding photos
We will take photos outside the church, while you will have time to relax, explore the surroundings, or make your way to the venue.
16.00 – Arrival and refreshments
We invite you to enjoy a light refreshment in the courtyard at Hanul Teilor, as you await our arrival at the venue.
17.00 – Welcome
We say welcome and give a few informations about the place and the party before inviting everyone inside for the first course.
18.00 – First dance
According to Romanian tradition the celebration begins with the newlyweds’ first dance, which opens the dance floor for everyone to join in!
19.00 – Food & festivities
Food, dancing, speeches and music all mixes together in a blend og Danish and Romanian traditions.
23.30 – Wedding dance
According to Danish tradition the newlyweds dance the wedding waltz before midnight.
00.00 – Wedding cake
After the cutting of the cake, you’re invited to enjoy a slice as the celebration continues.
Until late – Party
Dance, laugh, and celebrate with us until the early hours!

Friday
17.00 – Visit to Negreia and our tiny cabin
We’ll love for you to join us for a visit to our land and small cabin in the village Negreia. We’ll have some light food, a few drinks, make a fire and enjoy the view of the valley as the sun sets.
Bring good shoes, a warm sweater or blanket for the evening and a headlamp if you plan on staying late (the sun sets around 21.30).
Keep in mind that the terrain is uneven, the facilities are simple, and there is only one outdoor toilet.

Saturday
10.00 – City tour of Baia Mare
On Saturday, we plan to do a walking tour in Baia Mare, the city where Sebastian grew up. We’ll start with a visit to Saint Stephen’s Tower, offering great views of the city.
Next, we’ll stroll through the charming old town before heading to the Village Museum. Our tour will conclude at a lakeside restaurant, where you can enjoy a coffee, drink, or snack.
We expect the tour to last 2-2.5 hours and cover a distance of approximately 3-5 km.
20.00 – Drinks in Baia Mare
Saturday evening we will book a few tables at one of our favorite bars in town.
